 Stand a chance to win 1 of 3 double tickets to the Takealot House of Beauty event on 28 or 29 March 2025 in the TakealotNOW | Mr D competition as described further below (“Prize(s)”) and subject at all times to the further terms and conditions of this promotional competition (collectively "Competition") 

1. Promoter: This competition is promoted by Mr Delivery (Pty) Ltd (reg.  no. 1992/004664/07) (“Mr D”, “us”, “we” or “our”). 

2. Competition Period: This competition runs from 08h00 on the 8th of March, 2025 to 23h59 on the 23rd March, 2025 (collectively the “Competition Period”). No entries will be accepted after the end of the Competition Period.

3. Who can enter: You are entitled to participate in this competition if: (i) you are a natural  person who is at least 18 years old and who resides in South Africa; and (ii) it is lawful for you to be awarded the particular Coupon Prize. You may NOT participate if you are a supplier of goods or  services in connection with this competition, or if you are a director, member, partner,  employee, agent of, or consultant to Mr D or any other entity which directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Mr D, or if you are any of the aforementioned persons’ spouse,  life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner. 

4. How to enter: This Competition is run on the Mr D app. You will need to have a valid Mr D account to participate. During the Competition period, you must place one (1) shops order on the Mr D app, the purchase must be worth more than R350 using coupon code HOB03NOW. 

5. Content of your entry: Your entry may not: (i) contain any foul language, obscenities, defamation, hate speech or any otherwise inappropriate content in our sole discretion; nor (ii) contain any content which may be harmful to Mr D or its associated companies in any way; nor (iii) infringe the intellectual property or other rights of Mr D, its associated companies or any third party. We reserve the right to remove entries which we deem to be in contravention of this section 5. 

6. How many times you can enter: You may enter this competition as many times as you wish during the Competition Period. Each qualifying entry (completed as described in section 4  above) will give you one entry into the draw. 

7. Entry fees: There are no entry fees to participate in this competition, and no additional charges involved in acting as set out in section 4 above. 

8. Prize: We will select 3 (three) winners during the competition period. “Prize“. Each winner will receive 1 of 3 double tickets to the Takealot House of Beauty event on 28 or 29 March 2025. (Prize). 

9. Winners: The participant who has complied with section 4 above will be eligible to win 1 of 3 double tickets prize. The 3 winners for each day will be chosen from the Qualifying Entries received (i.e. 6 different winners in total across the Competition Period) by way of random draw, at or before 17h00 on the 25th of March, 2025. Each such winner and their corresponding Prize will be announced by way of direct message via their email address used to register their Mr D Account, by or before the 25th of March, 2025. We will then send another direct message to request and validate their participant information (including name, surname, email address, ID number, delivery address, bank letter, telephone number, etc.) (collectively “Participant Information”); we will make two direct attempts to obtain such Participant Information. Once we have received the Participant Information and validated the particular winner (i.e. to the extent applicable as determined in our sole discretion), we will allocate/deliver or otherwise arrange delivery of their corresponding Prize to them as soon as possible thereafter, subject to section 10. Proof of identity and a completed Competition release/indemnity form will be required in order to validate the particular winner. We will select winners who have taken the steps set out in section 4 and who are in compliance with these terms and conditions by way of random draw, at our sole discretion. Regarding the application of these terms and conditions and the selection of a particular winner and their corresponding Prize (i.e. in full compliance with these terms and conditions), our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into other than with the particular winner(s).

10. Disqualification of winner: There are certain situations in which a Winner will be disqualified from receipt of their Prize, namely: (i) they fail to give consent to Mr D to share their details on marketing promotions and/or fail to provide Participant Information within 24 hours of it being requested by us for the second time; (ii) they are found to have contravened any other rule set out herein; or (iii) in anticipation of delivery of the Prize, they refuse to or cannot provide reasonably sufficient documentation to verify their identity. In the event of disqualification of a particular Winner, we will be entitled in our sole discretion to select another Winner from amongst the participants. 

11. Use of participant and winner information: By participating in this competition, you consent to the use by Mr D or a third party nominated by Mr D of your Participant Information, so that your name and surname can be announced as the winner and the Prizes  can be delivered to you, and Mr D can effect its obligations in terms of this Competition. The particular winner may also be asked to permit the use of their image in marketing material, to participate in marketing activities, to permit Mr D the use of the image uploaded in marketing material, and/or be present when the relevant draw is taking place or they are announced as the winner, but they will be entitled to decline to do so. By entering this competition, you consent that Mr D can use your details, the contents of the competition submission / your winning qualifying entry for marketing purposes. 

12. Unforeseen events: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to cancel this competition (before entries are  received), to change the number or nature of the Prize at any time (on notice to you), or to change the rules at our discretion (provided that we will not change the conditions for participation or conditions for being awarded the particular prize, as stated herein).
